These Terms of Service govern your use of the Leading Edge Gutters website and any estimate you request through it. By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
About our services
Leading Edge Gutters provides seamless gutter installation and repair, gutter guard installation, roof replacement and repair, siding installation and repair, and asphalt shingle restoration in Traverse City and Northern Michigan. We are licensed and insured in the State of Michigan.
Website information
We work to keep this website accurate, but the information here is general. Descriptions of products, timelines, and typical results (for example, “most jobs are done in one day” or how long a shingle treatment may extend roof life) are typical outcomes, not guarantees for your specific home. Every house is different, and your written estimate will describe what applies to yours.
Estimates
- Estimates are free and carry no obligation.
- An estimate is not a contract. Work begins only after you accept a written estimate or sign a written agreement.
- Estimates are valid for the period stated on them. Material prices can change, so an expired estimate may need to be updated.
- If we find hidden conditions once work begins, such as rotted fascia or damaged decking, we will stop, show you, and get your approval before doing any additional work that changes the price.
Your written agreement controls
The scope, price, payment schedule, and warranty for your project are set out in your written estimate or contract. If anything on this website conflicts with your signed agreement, the signed agreement controls.
Scheduling and weather
Exterior work depends on weather. We may need to reschedule for rain, high winds, extreme cold, or unsafe conditions. We will let you know as early as we can, and rescheduling for weather or safety is not a breach of any agreement.
Property access and site conditions
You agree to give our crew reasonable access to the work area, to keep pets and people clear of ladders and roof edges during work, and to let us know about anything we should be aware of, such as buried lines near downspout locations or fragile landscaping.
Payment
Payment terms are stated on your written estimate or contract. Any deposit and its refundability are governed by our Refund Policy and your agreement.
Warranty
Our installations include a written workmanship warranty, the terms of which are provided with your estimate or contract. Materials are covered by their manufacturers’ warranties. Warranties do not cover damage from storms, falling trees or limbs, ice or snow removal tools, alterations by others, or lack of reasonable maintenance.
Using this website
You agree not to misuse this website, including by submitting false information, attempting to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to it, or sending spam through our forms.
Photos and content
The text, logo, and photographs on this website belong to Leading Edge Gutters or are used with permission. Photos show real projects we have completed. Please don’t copy or reuse them without permission. We may photograph completed work for our portfolio; we never publish your name or street address without your consent.
Reviews
Customer reviews shown on this site are taken from public Google reviews. They reflect individual experiences and are not a guarantee of any particular result.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Leading Edge Gutters is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under Michigan consumer protection law or under your written agreement with us.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Grand Traverse County, Michigan, unless your written agreement says otherwise.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed.
